Every now and then it’s nice to pop out for something a little more substantial than my usual ham sandwich at lunchtime! So I thought I’d add a little feature on this blog where I will write about my occasional ‘working lunches’ and hopefully offer a few helpful suggestions for you all if you’re ever in the same locations.
So this week I lunched with a friend in Windsor, Berkshire at the friendly and relaxed Greek Restaurant Latino Taverna. It was a last minute decision to get out and experience the unexpected sunshine! For a friendly work lunch with a friend this was just the perfect choice.
Situated on the cobbled side streets of Windsor just a stones throw away from the Castle it’s a lovely little place to kick back for an hour and enjoy a delicious lunch.
We had the Latino Special Lunch Meze, which at £12.95 per person was a pretty hearty affair! A delicious mix of dips, salads and small plates of meze meats and fish this went down a treat and provided a welcome diversion from the madness of the day.
I definitely think I’ll head back again sometime soon – getting hungry again just thinking about it!
