Lessons from my first week as a Blogger

"The work you do while you procrastinate is probably the work you should be doing for the rest of your life."

Hopefully this will be a regular Friday feature where I will ask someone I've worked or collaborated with to answer five quick questions in brief summary of their working week – what they’ve learnt and their achievements.

However I thought I would start the series by questioning myself in the first ever ‘5 Minute Thought!’

One: What has been your biggest achievement this week?

Getting my new blog up and running, grappling with coding and social media and all sorts of things I’ve never really had much to do with before – but it’s up and running! Good times!

Two: What has been the biggest surprise?

Joining Facebook in order to set up my blog page and finding that after all these years of avoiding it, it’s actually quite fun! It’s been lovely to connect with some old friends and see some hilarious photos!

Three: Name something you’ve liked or learnt this week?

This week I came across a quote online from Jessica Hische, which said: ‘The work you do while you procrastinate is probably the work you should be doing for the rest of your life.’ I totally agree with this! It sums up the journey I’ve started to take into the blogging world this week.

Four: What’s been your favourite way to relax when taking a break from work this week?

Lots of cuddles with my dearest and craziest spaniel pup!

Five: What are your goals for the coming week?

To stay positive and keep posting! To learn as much as I can and have fun whilst doing it and to catch up with some old friends I haven’t seen for a while.

So that’s it for this week. Watch out for some weekend fun and more reviews still to come.

If you get a chance hop over to Facebook and give TheWhatNowBlog a ‘Like’ to get regular updates!

Have a lovely weekend all - enjoy!
