Wearable Wonders

So today a short post on some new bits and pieces that have come into my life recently within the 'Fashion' and 'Beauty' categories!

I don't consider myself to be particularly fashion or makeup savvy but I do occasionally come across some pretty things or pretty useful things, so I thought I would include them on here every now and then.

First up a beauty of a new scarf that styles really well with a navy blazer that I'm currently sporting for meetings and work related events.

This little number is from Zara and I fell in love with it because of the orange splash of colour at the bottom. I'm currently channeling the peachy, orange colours that seem to be everywhere at the moment and I felt this little colour tint just livened up this scarf nicely!

Spring scarf.

Second up and keeping in the zesty theme, a trio of beauty products gracing my face (and hands) this month.

Firstly, and I admit I treated myself to this in the US so the price was a little more bearable, the MAC Sheertone 'Peaches' Blush. I love this! Not at all sparkly or over shiny, it livens up your cheeks with a gentle flush of flattering, summery and peachy colour. I've been wearing this without fail every day since I got it.

Next the Revlon 'One Perfect Coral' nail enamel. I'd read about this one on the beauty blog by Katherine-Louise a while back. Although I was already a fan of the Revlon nail varnishes I had somehow missed this little beauty so upon seeing it on Kat's blog it went straight onto my wish list!

Obviously if we're talking about work suitable products I wouldn't necessarily endorse this bright coral colour for the office (although maybe you can hide it away on your toes) but this is a great summer colour and goes very well with my new scarf! I always love the consistency of the Revlon polishes and find them very easy to apply - which is saying something as my manicure and pedicure skills leave a lot to be desired.

Finally the Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in 'Audacious' this is one of the new Revlon matte balms with a nice velvety finish. Again a nice vibrant orange, coral toned colour. I do really love the finish of these. Probably not one for the office as with the nails, however a good one to throw into your bag to pop on after work if heading out for dinner or drinks. That's one thing I love about these crayon style lip colours - they are pretty easy to apply in a rush and yet still give you a great effect.

Peachy face!

Peachy face!

That wraps up my little fashion and beauty section for now. I hope you liked it. It's something I may try and do a little more often as and when I get some interesting things to review.
