Work Bag Essential: Super SPF

Welcome back! Todays post is something I think you may find very handy for these warm summer days.

Summer SPF

We all know the importance of protecting your skin in the sun. I have to be honest and say that it wasn't something that I took seriously enough until recently - something which I'm already starting to regret. Now though, I won't leave the house without some form of SPF especially on my face whether that be contained within my moisturiser, my foundation or added specifically into my routine like the above product.

I'm really starting to enjoy the Soap & Glory products lately. I've loved their bath and shower products for a long time as they smell so divine, have a growing interest in their makeup having tried out a few bits and pieces and am now giving their skincare a deeper look.

I saw Lily Pebbles apply this in her summer BBQ get ready with me video here and thought it looked interesting so I tracked it down in my local Boots, and decided to give it a go. If you've read any of my other beauty related posts it will probably have come across that I don't like very thick or heavy products and am always on the hunt for light and easy to apply creams that kind of disappear into the skin but still do the trick.

One of the problems of many facial SPFs is often the thickness of them making them hard to apply, blend and basically not very fun to use.

Step forth the Soap & Glory Sunshield Superfluid in Factor 50+

This is a nifty little product! It's a really lightweight fluid and yet substantial enough that you can actually use it as a moisturiser instead of having to moisturise ahead of your makeup. It soaks in quickly and you can easily apply your makeup over the top leaving you with a nice glowy finish. Alternatively just splash it on alone when on your holidays before heading out to the beach or the pool. It really does give you long-lasting protection as well as feel comfortable on the skin. You don't even notice it.

Currently priced at £10 it's obviously a little bit of a splash but in terms of the price of most SPF products I think it's actually quite a steal and a little bit really goes a long way so I expect it to easily last me the whole summer.

I can't emphasise enough the importance of SPF and of looking after your skin. So if you're in the market for something new then maybe give this one a try and see what you think, a good and reasonably priced all rounder in simple, small, sturdy packaging that you can easily throw into your bag and take with you to top up throughout the day. It's a cutie!
