Feeling Artistic? A Date For Your Diaries

Every now and again I love to be able to bring you details of intriguing and exciting events on this blog, events that I feel (and hope) are interesting and accessible for you as readers. Today is one of those very days!

On the 18th of February Gray's Art Gallery will be hosting a private viewing of contemporary art from the very best emerging and mid career artists, many of whom will be on hand to discuss their work on the night. This free event is being held at the Old Rag Factory just off of Brick Lane in London and it promises to offer an enthralling mix of live performance, graffiti, sculpture and art along with the chance to mingle with likeminded art lovers and artists alike.

Gray's Art Gallery is passionate about supporting emerging talent in the art world and they cannot wait to present this new program of fabulous artists and give them a platform on which to show their work.

To reserve your place at the viewing visit Eventbrite and book your free ticket. You can learn more about the fantastic artists that will be exhibiting on the galleries blog - The Palette Pages where you will find some fantastic interviews with the artists in question. Interviews about their work and their working lives which are really fascinating. You can also find more details by visiting the FLUX Exhibition website.

If contemporary art and learning about new artists and their work is your thing then why not head along and take a look. I'm certainly looking forward to what promises to be a fun and creative evening.

So here's to a great Wednesday all. I hope you've had a happy hump day! I'll be back with a new post for you this Friday. Until then enjoy the rest of your day and farewell for now.
